Wow, what a week!
Production on the project is easing into action, with a plethora of interviews taking place within the next week!
Tomorrow, I'll be speaking with Teju Adisa-Farrar, an American writer, geographer and poet, specialising in environmental justice. We're going to discuss the price difference between ethically sourced products and those which are more widely available, as well as the similar difference between those wrapped in single-use/non-biodegradable packaging as opposed to loose and reusable packaging options.
On Tuesday I'll be travelling to London to meet innovators in consumer waste reduction. I'll be speaking with Jo Hand, the CEO of Giki - an app which is making it easy to find sustainable, healthy and ethical products. In the same trip I'll also be speaking with Santiagio Navarro, the CEO of Garçon Wines, a brand that has redesigned the classic wine bottle into a more eco-friendly design in terms of plastci and lowering carbon footprint. Speaking to Santiago will highlight the importance of using plastic correctly - the right plastics used responsibly in a lot of cases are the right solution for a healthy planet.
Content from these interviews will go live on the blog shortly!
